Electronic Store Seeing More Unhappy I Phone Customers

It was the must have gadget of the Summer, Apple's new mega smart phone, the I phone 4, but since its debut, electronic stores in Wichita Falls have busy dealing with upset customers, claiming the phone is far from what they expected.

Shane Naylor couldn't wait to get his hands on a new I Phone 4. He says he was looking forward to new apps, and faster speed, but what he got was one big headache.

"The phone is turning off, resetting itself on me, i've had two do that in the past month," Shane Naylor says.

Naylor is actually on his third I Phone 4, and like the two before, it suffers from the glitch currently plaguing Apple, and I Phone 4 users everywhere, dropped calls.

"If you touch this right here thats exactly what happens, that little black band separates it, so me working out in the heat all day and my hands are sweaty, soon as i pick up my phone to use it, no signal," Shane Naylor says.

Best Buy mobile phone salesmen Daniel Bianchi says he wants to keep iphone customers like Naylor happy. If you bought your phone at Best Buy, you can take advantage of a special program through their mobile website.

"What best buy is doing, we have a website called best buy mobile and what customers that have already bought cases can do, they can go to that website and we will reimburse them the money with a best buy gift card," Best Buy employee Daniel Bianchi says.

The phone case, according to Bianchi, is apples quick fix to the reception issue.

"It makes the antenna lose bars in certain areas when you're holding it a certain way, putting a case over that will protect it from the electricity in your body from making that go off."

Apple says new I Phone users can check with local apple stores, or call Apple directly to request a free phone case. You can also return the phone for a full refund as long as it's within 30 days of purchase.
